CJ is a lifelong athlete and has been involved in health and fitness since his early teenage years when he started training in martial arts(Karate) at his local YMCA in the Embarcadero. Originally from Trinidad & Tobago, CJ came to the United States in 1995 and was happy that he could take advantage of all the great opportunities provided by coming to the U.S. This passion led to pursuing his undergrad in Exercise Science and Nutrition. After spending time having served in the US Navy he wanted to pursue his passion for fitness and health and became a personal trainer, health coach, and nutritionist. CJ's current sporting events include fighting professionally in MMA and competing in local/regional Crossfit competitions. CJ gives back to his community by teaching non-profit self defense seminars to women and children in order to empower them to be more confident and comfortable in their surroundings.
